Patty Obermaier

General Manager, Government Solutions

Patricia Obermaier is general manager, Government Solutions, responsible for IMS Health services to U.S. military and civilian government agencies. She has held this position since October 2009.

Patty joined IMS Health in 2009 with more than two decades of healthcare and IT experience. Prior to that, Patty was a partner at Unisys responsible for the company’s business to federal healthcare agencies. During her eight-year tenure at Unisys, she held multiple leadership positions in the commercial, federal and global security practices. Patty has served in management and strategic planning positions for start-up companies and large enterprises, including Collaborex, PAREXEL and Reed Elsevier.

Patty holds a B.S. degree in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
